Compatibility

Some adapters may physically fit toilet or squat-pan openings, but toilet use should only be permitted when the final manufacturer instructions specifically confirm fixture compatibility.

Do not use on flexible hoses, soft tubing, visibly damaged pipes, loose joints or plumbing of unknown condition. This tool is not intended to remove cement, hardened deposits, solid foreign objects or chemically bonded obstructions.

Before Use

• Confirm that the fixture, pipe material and joints can safely tolerate an air-pressure tool.
• Ensure no chemical drain cleaner, bleach, acid, alkali or other hazardous cleaner is present in the drain.

General Operating Guidance

1. Select an adapter that forms a secure fit around the compatible drain opening.
2. Position the adapter squarely over the drain while keeping your face and body away from the opening.
3. Build pressure gradually, beginning at the lowest effective level specified by the manufacturer.
4. Maintain a controlled grip and operate the trigger only when the adapter is securely seated.
5. Allow pressure to dissipate before lifting the adapter or inspecting the drain.
6. If the clog remains, the pipe leaks, a joint moves or unusual sounds occur, stop immediately and contact a qualified plumber.

Never exceed the manufacturer’s rated pressure or recommended pumping limit. Do not improvise with an external compressor or modify the pump, trigger, chamber or adapters.

Critical Chemical Warning

Do not use this tool during or after applying a chemical drain cleaner. Pressurizing a drain that contains corrosive cleaner can cause hazardous liquid to splash back, resulting in serious eye or skin injury. If chemicals may be present, do not operate the tool; follow the chemical manufacturer’s instructions and contact a plumber when necessary.

Care and Storage

After all pressure has been released, remove the adapter and rinse any contacted components with clean water. Wipe the tool dry before storage. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners on the plastic body. Store unpressurized in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, heat sources and children.
