Create drying space only when you need it. This wall-mounted
retractable clothesline extends up to a supplier-listed 4.2 metres,
providing a compact place to air-dry towels, shirts, socks, underwear
and other everyday laundry.

Retractable Design

Pull out the line for drying and carefully guide it back into the
housing when finished to keep the area uncluttered.

Up to 4.2 m of Line

The supplier-listed maximum extension is approximately 4.2 m
or 13.8 ft, allowing installation across a bathroom, laundry area,
balcony or other suitable space.

Metal Drying Cable

The product is listed with a stainless steel cable and an
ABS, aluminium and stainless steel housing construction.

Installation Guidance

  1. Choose two solid, opposing structural surfaces capable of supporting
    the clothesline, mounting hardware and anticipated wet-laundry load.
  2. Check for concealed pipes, electrical wiring and other services before
    drilling.
  3. Mount the retractor housing into a wall stud, solid timber, masonry or
    another suitable structural substrate using fasteners specified for
    that surface.
  4. Position the receiving bracket directly opposite the housing at the
    same height and align it with the direction of the cable.
  5. Tighten every fastener securely. Do not rely on unsupported drywall,
    plasterboard, tile facing or decorative wall panels alone.
  6. Test the installation gradually with a light, evenly distributed load
    before normal use.

How to Use

  1. Inspect the housing, cable, handle, receiver and wall fasteners before
    extending the line.
  2. Hold the end fitting securely and pull the cable toward the opposite
    receiver. Do not release the cable while it is under tension.
  3. Attach the end fitting to the receiver and engage the tension or locking
    control according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Space wet laundry evenly along the cable. Begin with lighter garments
    and add weight gradually.
  5. Remove all laundry before releasing the lock.
  6. Hold the end fitting firmly and guide the cable slowly back into the
    housing. Never allow it to snap back uncontrolled.

Care and Maintenance

  • Wipe the housing and cable with a soft damp cloth, then dry them completely.
  • Retract the cable when it is clean and dry.
  • Inspect regularly for fraying, kinks, corrosion, loose fittings or weakening wall anchors.
  • Stop using the clothesline if the cable does not lock or retract smoothly.
  • Do not apply oil or household chemicals unless recommended by the manufacturer.
  • For outdoor installations, retract and protect the line during severe weather or extended periods of non-use.

Important Safety Information

  • A tensioned cable can recoil rapidly. Keep a firm grip and guide it during extension and retraction.
  • The stated load includes the full wet weight of all garments, hangers and accessories.
  • Do not exceed the verified working-load limit, even when the cable is only partly extended.
  • Keep the extended line away from doorways, stairs, corridors and other traffic routes.
  • Keep children and pets away from an extended or unsecured line because it can create entanglement, strangulation and trip hazards.
  • Do not hang from the line or use it as a grab bar, safety rail, exercise device, pet tether or support for people.
  • Do not use the product if the wall surface, mounting hardware, cable or locking mechanism is damaged or loose.
  • Installation should be completed by a qualified person when the wall construction or appropriate fastener type is uncertain.
